T54 arrived at the Cold Spring Canyon/Pearl Hill Fire yesterday and were moved to Winthrow, WA and assigned to hold the fire at A Road and support a dozer cutting fire line around threatened structures.

CWIFR B53 & E53 working a small vegetation fire (<1/4 acre) at Safari Street & SR-20. Fire 100% contained.

T54 working on burnout operations at the Cold Spring/Pearl Hill Fire this afternoon. As of this afternoon, the fire had burned over 314,000 acres.

CWIFR B54 officially demobilized and headed home after a 7 day deployment of fighting the Palmer Fire. Bath time for B54 and let the cleaning begin.

CWIFR members are finishing up evaluation of current technology in extrication equipment. Tonight we are looking at Holmatro tools.

The Palmer Fire is now at 17,860 acres with at least 30 structures lost.

Today CWIFR B54 was assigned to protect structures around Rainbow Lake & Wannacut Lake at the Palmer Fire in Okanogan County. A challenging assignment with some structures saved, but unfortunately others were lost to the fire.
